Trooper Drama invites you to join us for our UIL Showcase on Thursday, February 19 at 5:30 pm in the EHS Theater!
The evening opens with student-written/directed/acted short scenes. Advanced Theater students have cooked up some interesting SNL-style comedy sketches for your enjoyment. And EMS Raiders join us, as well, in sharing some of their short scenes.
Since December, Trooper Drama has been preparing for UIL One Act Play competition, and we are proud to present to you a free, public viewing of our contest piece Crimes of the Heart by Beth Henley. This 40-minute version goes up against our other 6A schools on February 24&25.
Thank you for supporting our student artists! We hope to see you there!

Being an All-State musician in Texas is no small feat—it requires months of practice and the discipline to pass multiple rounds of blind auditions. As a senior at Eastwood High School, Jordan’s selection to the 6A All-State Concert Band is the perfect capstone to his high school career.
As the sole representative from Ysleta ISD this year, Jordan has shown what it means to strive for excellence. Congratulations on a beautiful performance in San Antonio, Jordan! The future is bright. 🎼👏

Hello Trooper Family,
As we continue with the 2025-2026 season, we want to make sure our community stays informed. A reminder that Texas Senate Bill 2929 is in effect. This law gives game officials the authority to immediately remove spectators for disruptive or inappropriate behavior—no warnings required. Under Texas law, these decisions are final.
Why this matters: If a school records three removal incidents, they risk losing home officials for future games. Let’s protect our home-field advantage!
We’ve always been, El Paso’s Finest Feeder Pattern, so let’s keep showing everyone how it’s done:
✅ Cheer for our Troopers, not against the opponents.
✅ Show respect to the officials and visiting teams.
✅ Keep the energy positive for our student-athletes.
Let’s keep the stands packed and the spirit high. Go Troopers!

We are excited to invite all Eastwood High School clubs, organizations, teams, and El Paso's Finest Feeder Schools to come together and represent Eastwood Pride by supporting a water station sponsored by the Ohana Club at the El Paso Marathon on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
This is a wonderful opportunity to show our school spirit, serve our community, and cheer on runners from all over while representing Eastwood with energy and heart. The more spirited and supportive we are, the more memorable our presence will be for the runners and the community.
